We were blessed to live across the street from Espy and Delpha in Quail Creek for 5 years. Even though we moved away, we remained friends through Wesley United Methodist Church. We had the honor of escorting Espy on the Ozarks Honor Flight to Washington DC in 2011. What a memorable day! We will remember Espy for his friendly teasing, warm smile, and goofy character. He was a good man.

Mary Jane Robinson
My mother, Jane Holtzclaw Robinson, was Espy's first cousin. Espy's father and my grandmother (Euna Smith Holtzclaw) were siblings. Espy was always a joy to be around and he valued family. I remember happy family get togethers and celebrations in Star City and the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. My symapthies are with you at this time.

Pam, Uncle Espy's niece
I'll miss my Uncle Espy very much. He had a great laugh and his musical talent was wonderful. Uncle Espy told a story about me every time I saw him. They had a basket of fruit on their coffee table. When I was a little girl I picked up an apple and took a bite, they were wax! He would laugh every time he told that story. Rest in peace. 💞

Kevin Orr ( Espy's nephew).
My uncle Espy lived his life on his terms well into his 90s. If we all could be so lucky! The 1st born son, A Father, husband, WW11 Vetern, successful contractor, Guitarist. I'll never forget a family road trip we took in his El dorado Cadillac, from Dallas Tx to Warren Arkansas. He would give me a hard time as kid but do it with a smile on his face. R.i.P. Uncle Espy!
