I have fond memories of Jesus as a young Marine at 11th Marines. He was one of a group of very close Marines whom I had the professional honor and personal privilege of working with and knowing. There was nothing that Jesus could not repair and "make new" and do it with a smile on his face. He was full of life and laughter with a great sense of humor and could dish it out and take the same in equal measure and he always looked after our "peeps"! Always giving. It was a very special time in our careers serving together. A very close group of young men. To his family: Jesus will always be deeply loved by many whom he served with. My thoughts and prayers to you during this time of loss. Semper Fi brother.

Jesus, you will be dearly missed. It was my honor and my pleasure to service with you and to call you one of my guys. My heart goes out to your family. May God be with them and give them comfort and strength.

I had the privilege of serving with Jesus Orozco back in Camp Las Pulgas for 11th Marine Regiment in Camp Pendleton. We arrived at about the same time. He was a good friend and a part of a tight knit group of guys in that unit CEM Tech Shop. We always made fun of each other and I just remember that he was reserved. But, I was able to get him out of his shell at times. I can say that I truly was blessed to have gotten to know Orozco and I wish his family my condolences. What a tremendous loss for our beloved Marine Corps, our country, his friends, and especially his family. Semper Fi brother.
