Other Mother

Once when I was quite young, I am two years older than Bob, her oldest son, she was sitting with me at their house. Bob and I were outside playing and as boys will do, we got in trouble. Aunt Midge told me to do something (don't remember what it was) to which I replied, "I don't have to, you're not my mother". She was still telling that story to people we would be talking to. After my own mother, her sister Velma, passed, I referred to her as my other mother. I will miss her.
