Midge  Dowler (Clark)
Midge Dowler age 93, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born March 21, 1923, in Hermitage, Missouri to Issac and Ramah Clark. She married Dave Dowler on March 9, 1944.
She retired from Hillcrest High School. She was a longtime member of Walnut Street Christian Church and a volunteer at crosslines for over twenty years.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and bowling.
Midge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave, 2 sons Ron and Dennie, one grandson Mike Dowler and three sisters, Velma, Bonnie and Maureen.
She is survived by four children; Bob and wife Susie Dowler, Branson, Missouri, Jim and wife Sandy Dowler, Springfield, Greg and wife Jo Ellen, Cabool, Missouri, Suzie Dowler, Springfield, Missouri. Two daughters in law; Chris Dowler and Michelle Andrews and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by everyone who knew her.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel, 500 East Walnut Street, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Springfield National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Walnut Street Christian Church or Crosslines.
