Dear Darlene and Family, I was so sad to learn of Al's death. I knew (through Carolyn Lang) that he had been ill for some time. I will always be grateful to you and Al for the guiding spiritual influence you had on my life as a teenager. I have sung "I Met the Master" many times in my own music ministry, and I always "hear" Al's beautiful voice singing it at Calvary Temple in Grand Forks.
