Deborah F. (Arbuckle)  Bick
Deborah F. (Arbuckle) Bick of Ozark, MO passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2016 after a courageous battle against cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Her strong faith in the Lord is a comfort to family and friends.
Deborah was born on April 17, 1951 the daughter of Buster (Frances) and Nettie B. Arbuckle of Trenton, MO. Deborah was a compassionate and loving person who always strived to help others. She touched so many lives with her caring and kind heart. She was a strong believer in education and everyone getting an opportunity to be the best that they could be. She was truly loved and will be missed by many.
Deborah is survived by her son Lonnie Shields of Hannibal, MO and her Daughter Alicia Gassel, husband Steve, grandsons Justin and Nathan Gassel of Springfield, MO; brother Marvin Arbuckle and wife Shirley of Trenton, MO; niece and nephew Gina Sapp and husband Jeff of Gardner, KS and Jeff Arbuckle and wife Linda and their two children Derek and Ashley of Trenton, MO. And last but not least her two four legged babies Oscar and Cocoa Bear.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Buster and Nettie Arbuckle, an infant son Michael, a special Aunt Lois Kallis whom she considered as a second mother, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 12, 2016 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St. Springfield with services beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Lewis Hejna officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in Deborah’s name to honor her grandsons be made to Springfield Catholic Schools 2340 S. Eastgate Springfield, MO 65809.
