My sincerest sympathies to each of Jim's children: Kristine, Jessica, Jeff, Mike, and Lisa, and to the rest of his family. I first met Jim and his late wife Rhonda 41+years ago. They were managing a 4-plex where I started my married life and the most incredible friendship of a lifetime. We connected right away and from there I can tell you I treasure those memories. Jim was such a fascinating man with a depth a knowledge that intrigued me. He was charming, good natured, and very in tune to the times our generation. We used to play pinochle 3-4 times a week and continued that tradition until we started our families. Jim and my ex-husband Joe would team up against Rhonda and I. Jim and I knew it was really a competition between Joe and Rhonda, and we just sat back and enjoyed the show. After Rhonda's passing Jim and continued our friendship. I always felt I was more family than friend through past years. My son Brian adored Jim. Jim's grandchildren and great's were the recent center of our communications. I will miss him terribly. God have mercy on his soul and let perpetual light shine upon him. God Bless all of you. Karen Meinert
