Obituary for John Richard ""Jack"" Jackson
John Richard “Jack” Jackson of Springfield, Missouri passed away July 29, 2015 after losing a courageous battle with cancer, which he fought to the very end.
He enjoyed Club night and spending time with his family.
He was born in Decatur, Il, on March 4, 1958. “Jack” was preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Jackson, and two sisters Francis Louise Burrous and Mary Kaye Strode and a great nephew Matthew Adam Hollgarth.
He is survived by his wife Deanna. Four children, John Richard Allen, Joseph Allen Allen, Krystle Ann Boliek and Steven Michael Boliek. Three grandsons Jase, Jaxon and Nick. Two brothers Robert Allen Jackson Sr, and wife Phyllis, and Lonnie Strode, one sister Gloria Jean Fleetwood and husband Victor. And by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel, 500 E. Walnut St.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to be made to the family.
