Now he's in heaven with our other angels, our mother and father, meeting mother for the first time and I know she will love him. Pam, Bob is now at peace and we shall both remember him and the good times we had together over the years. Bob was a good father. He loved his kids - used to play 4 square, or throw frisbee. Whenever he was home for his travels he just wanted to be around with Kendell & John. He had a great sense of humor - he was a good man & will be missed.

For many years I (Ron) had the opportunity to work with Bob and I always enjoyed his company and professionalism. His work attitude was always positive and his willingness to help was always very generous. I regret that I was unable to see Bob when he moved to Springfield. It was always a pleasure during both work and play time. We had great fun doing both. Please accept our sincere sympathies. Praying for you his family and friends. Bob was a person who not only was part of the team that provided an opportunity to change our lives for the better, but he personally was someone that you looked forward to seeing again.

Bob was a sweet friend with a witty sense of humor. He was a humble man of God and will be sorely missed. I am sad that he is gone but I rejoice that he is in the arms of Jesus.

Michael Kennedy brother of Bob, from Aliso Viejo, CA.
Back about 1968 or 1969 Bob returned home from Creighton University for the summer and I was working at a Hot Shoppes Restaurant in Falls Church, Virginia. He joined me working there on the night shift, usually leaving about midnight. This was convenient since he was three years older and could drive me. We had a great time that summer working together and on days off played golf. We went to Goose Creek Golf Course near Leesburg one day where I had played on the golf team in high school, but Bob had never played. As we got to the back nine, he was pasting me good as normal and I was down a few holes. The fairway was straight, but a bluff blinded where the drive would land. He asked me "is there any thing on the other side?" "Nope, hit it long and straight I said!" As normal he laid it out, we jumped in the cart with Bob driving and headed down the fairway...as we crested the rise, he sees a lake, I burst out laughing. He calmly drove up to the lake, took a sharp left turn, I tumbled into the lake. Good times like these will always be remembered. He won the round as usual, it must have been I was too wet.....
