Obituary for Marjorie Ellen "Margie" Williams (Behee)
Marjorie E. “Margie” Williams, age 79, passed away Monday, August 4th, peacefully at home, surrounded by family.
She was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on June 11th, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Williams, and her parents, Dorothy and Burton Behee.
Margie had a strong faith in God and was a devoted member, from the beginning, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan and faithfully followed the Kansas City Royals and the KU Jayhawks basketball.
Margie is survived by her son, Robert Williams and wife Cindy; their children, Tim and Anjuli Williams, Karie and Daniel Aldrich, and Justin and Melissa Burks; and four great-grandchildren, Aubree and Grant Williams, Mason Aldrich, and Elliot Burks. She is also survived by sister, Rose Mary Holmes; brothers, Leo Behee, John Behee and wife Judy, and Bill Behee and wife Judy and many nieces and nephews.
She is loved and will be missed by many friends and family including sister-in-laws Louise Jones and Helen Williams and their children.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday August 7, 2014 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Thursday in the church.
The family wishes to thank Hospice Compassus for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund.
