Helping grandpa through the last five years of his life was such a gift. He was such an easy man to get along with if you knew the secret, to be honest, fair and respectful and he would reciprocate. I miss you!

I like to remember my grandpa when we would tease each other back and forth and laugh over who got the other one better. He live life by his beliefs and nothing or no one could change his mind. He worked hard throughout his life and was stubborn about his opinions. I loved when he tried to help me and guide me through life. I will miss his personality and laugh when you got him going he had a great laugh.

My father, the grandson of Norwegion/Swedish immigrants who grew up during the depression on a farm in Minnesota, lived life by the old school. He believed in God, served his country in the Korean War & hard work. No spoiling his children. I remember falling off a horse & his comment was ,it didn't kill you ,did it? He taught us to dust off the hard knocks of life & go on. He will be missed!
