It was Pastor Jon from the Lutheran church here in Emmitsburg that asked me one day if I know a Robert Ulrich. He had gotten this call from a Jennifer. He told me Bob passed away and I was shocked. Yes, of coursse I know him. We graduated in the same class(1965) I remembered he even came to visit me in college while he was at basic training. We were both in N.C. Jim Martin would keep me posted since he an Robert kept in touch and I see Jimmy often. I never made the time to write, but he was well remembered here in E-Burg and there wasn't a reunion that his name did not come up. He was a good person and what a shock to us all here in Emmitsburg.
