Willie Ray Harbin, 63 of Springfield, passed away Tuesday July 3, 2012 in his home.
Willie was born December 13, 1948 in Lambert, Mississippi to James Andrew and Ausie (Worley) Harbin. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1969 through 1971. Willie was a union carpenter working on many different projects throughout his career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his three sisters, Mary, Connie and Hazel and his brother, James. Willie is survived by his wife, Debra Harbin; his children, Elicia Woodworth, Robert Lopp, LeAnn Harbin and Jonathon Harbin; his grandchildren, J.C. Allie and Dee Woodworth, Angela & Charles Lopp, and Keagan Bratton-Harbin; his siblings, William Harbin, Allen Rogers, Danny Rogers, Nelson Rogers and Kathy Blackloch; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday July 6, 2012 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Chaplain Charley Schurtz officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Crane, Missouri.
