William Wood
William "Bill" J. Wood, II, 48, Springfield, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2006 in his home.
He was born January 28, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to William and Marjorie (Powell) Wood. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Kendra Jo. He also enjoyed singing at church. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lela Gullion.
Bill is survived by his wife, Regina; his two children, Ren� Lynne Hancock, and her husband Scott, and their daughter Kendra Jo, of Republic, and William J. Wood, III, and his wife Megan, of Ft. Knox, Kentucky; and his siblings, Barbara Grubb, and her husband Terry, Hope Grisham, Carla Swartz, and her husband Gordon, Darrell Wood, and Kelly Wood.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, with Rev. Lindell Howard officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
