William Seymour, Jr.
William Hall Seymour, Jr. was born March 2, 1938 in Wichita KS and passed away Feb 22, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA.
He was a decendant of an old Springfield Family. His Great Grandfather was Mayor of Springfield at one time. He was retired from the State of California. He was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica, CA. He enjoyed painting landscapes and many of his world travels ended up on canvas.
He was preceeded in death by his Father, William H Seymour Sr and Mother Gertrude Aduddell Seymour and Sister Elizabeth Ann Cook. He has one Nephew K. Douglas Cook of Hesperia, Ca and a Niece Deborah Ann Bonilla and husband Boni of Sacramento, Ca. He also leaves One Great Nephew Greg Pfonner and wife Catherine and their twin daughters Emma and Sara, great Niece Stephanie Rea and husband Chris of Elk Grove, CA, Great Niece Alison Cook of Cincinnati, OH and Great Niece Lisa Graven and husband Gary and daughter Haylee of Ontario, CA.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March, 6, 2010 in Maple Park Cemetery with Rev. Fred Royer officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. No visitation is planned. Online condolences can be shared at www.hhlohmeyer.com.
