William Pope

William Dustin Pope passed away as a result of injuries he received in an automobile accident on December 23, 2012 in Willard, Missouri.
He was born January 6, 1976 in Fayette, Missouri to William & Sherry (Hampton) Pope. Dustin was a gentle kind hearted man. He always put his family and friends first. Dustin loved taking care of others. He took care of his mother for several years and enjoyed working at the nursing homes. He worked with his Uncle Hansel laying brick and Hansel said “there wasn’t nothin Dustin couldn’t move”. He loved watching his cartoons and having fun. He always had a smile on his face. Dustin was just engaged to be married to Tiffany. He left all of his loved ones to soon. Dustin you are greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Sherry and Clyde Pursley, his brothers, Toby Pope, Joseph Pope and his wife Jennifer; his nieces and nephew, Melissa Pope, Jacob Pope and Julienna Pope and his fiancée Tiffany Cook.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday December 30, 2012 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday December 29, 2012 in the funeral home.
