William "Gene" Morgan, 81, Springfield, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Friday August 1, 2008.
He was born March 17, 1927 in St. Joseph, Missouri to James and Dorris Morgan. Gene was a member of the United States Navy serving during World War II.
Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday August 4, 2008 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
No formal service is planned at this time. Final interment will be at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens at a later date.
