William Ross Laney

William ROSS Laney, born January 8, 1950, made his final flight on Friday, February 10, 2023 to join his loving wife, Shirl, who predeceased him on April 13, 2020.

Ross is the middle of five boys: Reed, Mack, David, and Kent.

Ross was gifted with an incredible love of life which he shared with Shirl; their son, Zach; and later with Zach, his wife, Jenny, their daughter, Carmon, and their dog, Beasley, who reside in Portland, Oregon. And lest we forget, Angel (Ross and Shirl's departed beagle) and Zoe (Ross's loving beagle, who will be joining his brother Kent's family).

Ross’s zest for life was grounded in family, career, love of sports, passion behind the grill, enjoyment of a good Manhattan, and his strong faith.

Ross, Zach, and their family wish to THANK Ross's many caregivers; especially Ms. Cullie, from Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, his hospice caregivers, and the whole Phoenix Team.

And a very special THANK YOU to Sam, Dr. Margo, Cy, and Elle, who were incredible friends and neighbors.
