William Kaufman

William Richard Kaufman, 55, Springfield, passed away at 8:16 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Cox South Hospital. He was born January 1, 1953 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Earl and Rosemary (Gross) Kaufman. He graduated in 1975 from St. Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He married Mary O'Donnell on April 7, 1978. Bill was a self-employed Insurance Agent. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Anne's Council # 698, and Pope St. Pius X Assembly 1877.

He is survived by his parents, of Cold Spring, Minnesota; his wife, Mary; son, William and his wife, Courtney; daughters, Rachel and Maureen Kaufman; grandchildren, William and Aidan Kaufman; and brothers and sisters.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday with prayer services starting at 7:30, in the church.
