Willard Wright

Willard Kent Wright, 75, Springfield, MO. joined his heavenly father Christmas morning, December 25, 2008 at 4:50 a.m. in Cox South Medical Center.

Mr. Wright was born May 15, 1933, in Aldrich, Mo., to Harmon and Velma Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Hinds Wright.

He is survived by his wife Barbara S. Campmier Wright of the home. His son, Willard Lee Wright, and wife Ellen. A daughter, Carol Ann Kennison, and husband Frank. Three step-children, Sharon Kersten and husband Warner, Barry Campmier and wife Rita, and Blair Campmier and wife Marion. Four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Seven step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Ralph and Gene Wright and their wives. And a host of family and friends.

He was a member and a retired deacon of Hamlin Memorial Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in Hamlin Memorial Baptist Church with Calvin Mayberry and Jim Flora officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery under the care of locally owned Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
