He was born on August 19, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank and Frances Grindley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Grindley.
Will is survived by his wife, Judy Grindley; children, Sue Darrow and Gary Grindley; step-son, Keith Tate; and brothers, Kenneth Grindley and James Grindley.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 in St. Joseph Catholic Church under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass starting at 9:00 a.m. in the church on Monday.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
