Mr. Walter O'Neill Engler, 84 of Springfield passed away Sunday, October 15, 2006 in his home.
Walter was born March 30, 1922 in Baltimore, Maryland to Walter and Lillian (Ensor) Engler.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine Engler of the home; his son, Robert Engler and his wife Beverly; his granddaughter, Kristy Wimer and her husband, Steven and his great grandson, Joseph Wimer all of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel 500 E. Walnut Street with Rev. Brent Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery near Willard, Mo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.hhlohmeyer.com.
