Walden Noose

After a long illness, Wally Noose passed away in his home surrounded by family on November 5th, 2013. He was born October 7, 1937 in Pulaski, Wisconsin to Joseph and Mary Noose.
Wally is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ellie; his three sons, Mike and wife Kim, Chris and wife Robyn, and Mark; his two sisters, Pat and Genny Cahalan; his brother, Joe Noose; six grandchildren, Shane, Kyle, Kirsten, Matthew, Jeremiah and Jesse; and three great-grandchildren, Aislin, Ryder and Payton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Lisa and brother, Alfred.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1977 after serving 22 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Springfield where he loved attending a weekly adoration.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday Nov. 8th in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 9th in St. Joseph Catholic Church 1115 N. Campbell Springfield. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
We would like to give thanks to Mercy Hospice Care and a special thanks to Melody Herbster, R.N., for her kindness and compassion to our family.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Academy or Castaway Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) of Springfield.
