Vivian Maree Lambert, 87, went home to the Lord on October 25, 2012 in Springfield, Missouri.
Vivian was born on May 10, 1925 in Longmont, Colorado to John and Lola Clark. As a young woman, Vivian moved back home with her mother in order to help raise her siblings; she carried this nurturing and compassionate nature forward in life with her as she continued to act as a beacon of love, understanding, patience, and strength to her family, friends, and the many lives she has touched throughout her life’s journey.
Those who knew Vivian will say that she cherished God and dedicated her life to sharing His word through fellowship and example; music was a large part of her celebration of God and life, as she enjoyed playing the violin and singing her favorite hymns. She was also a beautiful seamstress and enjoyed sewing and making needlework for those she loved.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and Herb and sister Fern; daughter, Pegi Murray-Fair; husbands, Malcolm Murray, Ward Todd, Beryl Jeffers and Gene Lambert.
Her memory is carried forward by her sisters, Shirley Keal and Mary Lou; son Malcolm Murray and wife Michele; daughter Patricia Tucker and husband David; grandchildren Julie Johnson, Cara Tucker, Jennifer Murphy, Malcolm Murray IV and Victoria Murray; ten great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, many loving nieces and nephews, and friends.
Memorial services will be held the afternoon of Saturday, November 10, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Lantana, Florida.
