Virginia “Sue” Jobe
January 10, 1940- September 15, 2018

Our Mom is now safely in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Though our hearts
are so broken, It’s only because we will miss her beautiful smile, sweet spirit, and her unconditional love.

Sue was born January 10, 1940 to Walter J. and Audrey “Ted” (Edge) Buresh in Bolivar, MO. She gave her heart to Jesus at a young age at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar, MO. Sue graduated from Bolivar High School in 1958 and went on to Beauty School and then ran a Salon out of her home for a few years. She then went on to become the President of the Foster Parents Association for many years and having a daycare in her home. She had a huge, compassionate heart for children. Her life was a remarkable picture of a woman who had so much strength and tenderness and a lot of love to give. She retired in 2002 due to health issues. She later joined Crossway Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. She sure loved the Lord and the Church! Her focus and life’s joys were her family, friends and her relationship with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her dad- Walther J. Buresh, her mom- “Ted (Edge) Buresh
and her only sibling, a brother- Lloyd Dean Buresh.

She is survived by her three children. Two sons: Todd Roberts and wife Lori of Forsyth, MO. and Rodney Roberts of Springfield, MO, and one daughter: Jennifer Stoner and husband Larry of Rogersville, MO. She loved, adored and cherished her grandkids:
Cody Shackleford and fiance Summer, Tanner Roberts, Lizzy Roberts, Hanna Stoner, Lauren Stoner, Logan Stoner and one great- grandson Layne Shackleford. She was also survived by a wonderful best friend Marilyn Smith as well as many other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, September 20th at Crossway Baptist Church, 2900 N Barnes Ave, Springfield, MO. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Bolivar, MO.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home of Springfield.
