Virginia Fast

Virginia Lee Fast, age 91 of Springfield passed away May 8, 2015. Virginia was born in Weatherford, Texas she moved to Springfield in 1945.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Kathy (Richard) Wilkinson, Jan (Wendell) Royster and Terri (David) Weidmann; 3 grandchildren, Matt (Kimberly) Wilkinson, Kristie Weidmann, Erik Weidmann, 1 step-grandson Brian (Leteshia) Royster; 6 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and loved doing anything for her church family. She was a past member of Mercy Auxiliary and was currently volunteering at Mercy Hospice. She retired from Dayco in 1986.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday May 11, 2015 with a Rosary service starting at 6:30 p.m. all in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday May 13, 2015 with Fr. Tom Kiefer celebrant in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Springfield National Cemetery.
