Victor Stephen "Steve" Morton, 48, of Springfield recently of Strafford, passed away in his home on October 26, 2004. He was born March 21, 1956, in Springfield, Mo., the son of John W. Morton and Jo Ann (Dosing) Morton. Steve was a graduate of Parkview High School.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, John W. and Berniece Morton, Springfield, his mother and stepfather, Jo Ann and Guy E. Brown of South Pasadena, Florida and his sister, Diane Morton, of Tampa, Florida; two aunts, one uncle and a number of cousins.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Maple Park Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Gromer officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut.
Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
