Vickie Thompson

Vickie Ellen Thompson nee Altic passed at home in Springfield MO, surrounded by her family, on Monday evening July 19, 2021 after a prolonged illness.

Vickie was born May 25, 1956, in Springfield MO, the daughter of Alvin and Barbara (Blurton) Altic.

She was known as being a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend.

She was proceeded in death by her father Alvin Altic, her brother Ricky Altic, her nephew Kevin Altic as well as two infant nephews Randall and Alex Myers.

She is survived by her mother Barbara Glenn, son Gerald Thompson, daughter Elizabeth Gilleland (Garret Lorenz), brother Ronnie Altic, sister Gale (Susie) Myers, grandsons Kadin Thompson, Connor, Logan and Lucas Price. Honorary daughter Megan Elmore and honorary grandchildren Jesse and Gage Marsh, Brianna, Joni and Lucas Jemes, Joelynn, Alyce and Henry Draves as well as her nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from Noon-1:00pm on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri 65806. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm.
