Vicki Tate-Hughes

Vicki Lynn Tate-Hughes, 54 of Springfield passed away Thursday November 27, 2014 in her home surrounded by family.

Vicki was born April 16, 1960 in Springfield, Missouri to Bobby J. & Rose M. (Boyle) Tate, Sr. She worked as a sales associate for The Direct Buy Group. Vicki was an active member of Orchard Crest Baptist Church. She enjoyed making charms, necklaces & bracelets to give away to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Earl R. Hughes; her two children Tiffany Glossip and Matthew K. Glossip (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Derrick, Ty, Jemma & Foster; her parents Bob & Rose Tate; her siblings, Bobby J. Tate, Jr. and Harold Tate and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday December 1, 2014 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday December 2, 2014 in Orchard Crest Baptist Church 320 Orchard Crest Ave. with Pastor Travis Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Strafford, Missouri.
