Mrs. Veronica Ann Turner, 86 of Springfield passed away at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009 in her home.
Veronica was born Aug. 6, 1923 in New York City, New York to Francis and Ann (Porter) McAteer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her sister and her husband, Murl H. Turner.
Survivors include her children, and their spouses, Deborah and John Fry of Springfield, Michael and Deborah Turner of Springfield, and Veronica and Stephen Paur of St. Peters, Mo. and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St. with Fr. Mike McDevitt officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home.
