Vernon Visingard, 76, passed away April 16, 2005. He was born March 25, 1929 in Olean, New York and was a resident of Nixa, Mo. Vern was a minister for many years and owned Vern's Machine Shop until retiring. Vern and his wife, Jewell owned a Bed and Breakfast in Branson before moving to Nixa. He was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge.
Vern was preceded in death by his son, John. He is survived by his wife, Jewell; brother, Richard; son, Alan Visingard and wife, Nancy; daughter Deborah Howard and husband Larry; grandchildren, Chris and Daniel Visingard, and William Howard; step-children, Bambi Vahldick, Lee Schroll, Jeff Schroll, and Heidi Clark; step-grandchildren, Zach and Tyler Vahldick, Austin and Jadyn Clark, and Chanel, Ryan, Jessey and Abbi Schroll.
Funeral services and burial were in Marion, New York, under the local care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held for Vern at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 in Branson Hills Assembly of God Church, 256 Church Road, Branson, with Rabbi Jeremy Storch officiating.
