Tyler Kenneth Dillon

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tyler Kenneth Dillon, born on July 29, 1994, a man whose life was a testament to strength and adventure. Tyler, age 30, passed away on March 25, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. He will be received in Heaven by his biological father, Ricky Smith Jr. and his loving grandmother Patrica Kay Dillon and many others. A lifelong resident of Springfield, Missouri, he was known for lending a helping hand, fighting for those who couldn’t, and providing his family with infinite love, support, and protection.

Tyler had a passion for hunting, cooking and animals. He worked in construction and well drilling for much of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Melody Roberts; his father and stepmother, Robert and Tessa Record; and his siblings, Samuel Record, Kayanna Prike, Aaron Roberts, and Alaya Roberts. He is also survived by beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles, extended family and friends.

Services will be held at Freedom City Church on April 26, 2025 at 2 pm.
