T.W. Grier

T.W. Grier, 80, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at Spring Valley Health and Rehab Center.

He was born July 14th, 1938, in Oceanside California, to Travis Grier and Sronie Grier .

T.W. joined the army and was deployed during the Korean War. He later worked for the State of Missouri as a general maintenance man. In his off time he loved to hunt and fish. He couldn't get enough of the great outdoors. He also had a small affinity for gardening at home.

T.W. volunteered at the Missouri Hotel and devoted many hours there teaching carpentry skills.

T.W. is survived by a large family, including his two beloved children, Jim Grier and Cindy Grier, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and lots of loving family and friends.

There will be a memorial service at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery on October 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm.
