Trent Jones

Trent Edgar Jones was born November 24, 1970 in Whittier, California to Edgar “Jerry” and Gloria Jones. He was welcomed with much joy as the second red-headed grandchild to both sets of grandparents, Horace and Eunice Jones and Harley and Shirley Stover. His sister, Lanesa, was so excited to have a brother, and especially a red-headed, ginger one, like herself.

Trent and his family moved to San Jose for several of his growing up years but moved back to La Habra where he graduated from high school. Trent loved playing soccer and he was a whiz at winning board games, even at a very early age. He taught himself how to work computers which led to his occupation as an IT specialist.

Trent and his family moved to Springfield, Missouri in 1995 where he lived until he passed away. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Jones. He is survived by his children, Daniel Jones, Allison Jones, his grandson, Kaidyn Eutsler and his father, Edgar Jerry Jones of Fredericksburg, Texas, his sister, Lanesa Wakefield, as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service celebrating Trent’s life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
