Trang Kim Phan, age 71 (Springfield, Missouri), passed away at 4:34 P.M on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 in Mercy Hospital.
She was born July 14th, 1950 in Go Cong, Viet Nam to Giao Van Phan and Kheo Thi Vo. Trang met her soulmate Hanh Dinh Pham and got married in December 22nd, 1972. On May 19th, 1993, Trang and her husband moved to the United States with their two daughters: Ngoc Diep, Tram Anh, and resided in Springfield, Missouri ever since to be close to her second family (her husband’s). She was a quick-witted person who loved to tell funny stories during family dinner time and sing Vietnamese country songs with her husband playing the guitar. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking for the family. But most importantly, she was a loving and caring person who always thought of others before herself and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Bach Tuyet, Minh Thu, Minh Chau; brothers: Quoc Dung, Quoc Vu, Quoc Hung.
She is survived by her husband, Hanh; children: Ngoc Diep, Tram Anh and her husband Ly Trung; grandchildren: Ivan Thien Bao; sister: Cam Hong; brothers: Minh Phuc, Minh Dang.
Visitation hours will be from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO 65806) with prayer services starting at 6:00 P.M.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at St. Agnes Cathedral (533 S. Jefferson Ave., Springfield, MO 65806). Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery (4528 W. Division Street, Springfield, MO 65802) under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
