Thomas Plemones

Thomas Fredrick Plemones, age 84, left this life here on Earth on Sunday evening, December 31, 2017.

He was born on May 3, 1933 to Thomas Ernest and Nellie May Plemones in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was from a large family of twelve.

Thomas is survived by his son, Gary Lynn and his wife Amber Plemones and their two sons, Josh and Skyler. His daughter, Cheri K. and her husband Tim Carey and their three children, Brecklyn, Chaylei and Trahyger. Tom adored his grandchildren, leaving them, as well as a host of friends.

Tom enlisted in the military during the Korean War and served with the 36th Marine Air Group in the Helicopter Division. He logged lots of flying time and always had a love for flying from then on.

He was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church in Springfield.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 South Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri 65804.
