Thomas Wesley Everett Davis, age 74, of Springfield Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 4th, 2024.
Thomas was born on June 11th, 1949 in Tuscola Illinois.
He served honoarably and retired from the Navy after serving during the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars. During his time in the Navy he achieved the rank of Storekeeper Chief Petty Officer (E7). He was awarded numerious awards including National Defense Service Medal w/ Bronze star, Navy Achievement Medal, Battle Efficiency Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon w/ 4 Bronze Stars, Meritorious Unit Commendation w/ 2 Bronze Stars, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Special Operations Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal w/ 4 Bronze Stars, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Multi-National Force Medal, and Southwest Asia Service Medal.
At the time of Thomas' passing, he had no known family.
A Committal Service for Thomas W. E. Davis will be on June 11th, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Springfield National Cemetery: 1702 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO 65804. All who can make it are invited to attend to honor him and his service to our country.
