Theodore L. Wolf, III, 66 of Fair Grove passed away Saturday morning Sept. 3, 2011 in his home.
Theodore was born Nov. 4, 1944 in Springfield, Mass. to Theodore L. and Catherine E. (Turner) Wolf, Jr. He served in the U.S. Air force for 22 years retiring as a Master Sergeant. Ted later worked for EG&G a defense contracting company in Las Vegas. He moved to Fair Grove Missouri in 2004 where he also served as Alderman. Ted had many hobbies and interest including computers, model train railroading, bird watching, bowling and golfing.
His parents and a sister, Mary Alice Wolf, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda Wolf; his son, Theodore L. Wolf, IV; his two sisters, Linda C. King and Donna Jean Wolf; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 7, 2011 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Denis Dougherty, O.S.B. celebrant. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 6, 2011 with a prayer service starting at 6:30 p.m. all in the funeral home.
