Terry Mast, Sr.

Terry L. Mast passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010. He was 67. He was a lifetime resident of Springfield, Missouri and retired as a supervisor from General Electric.

Terry was born on January 21, 1943 in Denver, Colorado to Jesse and Mae Mast. On April 6, 1963, he married Ellen Angebrand and they have three children; Terry, Ronny, and Tanja. He was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren; Angela 18, Brian 12, Kristen 12, and Hanna 10. They were his pride and joy.

Terry was a U.S. Army veteran and served two tours in Vietnam where he was decorated for heroism receiving the Silver Star; 3-Bronze Stars for valor; 3-Army Commendation Medals for valor; and 3-Purple Hearts. He was also our hero and we will miss him. His Father preceded him in death.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 in St. Agnes Cathedral with Father Mike McDevitt celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
