Tad William Patton was born April 1, 1970 in Joplin, Missouri to parents George William Patton and Sandra Kay Granger. He graduated high school in Waynesville, Missouri. Tad served in the United States Army returning to live in Springfield, Missouri where he worked in construction. Tad entered into rest on July 31, 2021 at the age 51 years and four months.
He is preceded in death by his step-daughter, Camille Crews, brother Andrew Patton, maternal grandparents Fay and Nancy Granger, and paternal grandparents Clifford and Ruth Patton.
He is survived by his daughter, Aleigha Patton of the home; his parents George Patton and Sandra Granger Eckhart of Savannah, GA; sisters Dawn Imler, Jill Pratt and husband Kerry, and Somer Patton all of Savannah, GA; his aunt Mary Patton of Neosho, MO; uncles Gary Granger and wife Doris of Stella, MO; Randy Granger and wife Beverly of Neosho, MO; Ron Granger and wife Alise of Rangely, CO; nieces Kiara Patton, Ellen Imler, Nevaeh Patton, Patton Pratt, and Mariah Manier; nephews Elijah Patton and Wilder Pratt all of Savannah, GA; extended Ford family of Washington State, and many other cousins, friends and loved ones.
He was dearly loved by his family and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 29 at 3:00 pm followed by services at 4:00 pm officiated by Fr. Daniel Belken at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, Springfield, MO. Internment and military honors will be at 1 pm Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Macedonia Cemetery, Stella, MO.
