Steven Gary Holmes, 69, Springfield, passed away on Friday January 15, 2016.
Steven was born on May 10, 1946 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Thomas Claude and Oma Pearl (Lovelace) Holmes. Steven was a veteran, serving in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Tish Holmes; children, Desiree Morrow, Janeen West (James), Brannon Holmes, Tonya Hughes (Bill), and Karrine Holmes (Richelle); siblings, L.V. Holmes, Wilma Wallace, Tommy Holmes, Acey Holmes, Janie Allen, Dex Holmes, David Holmes, and Jim Holmes; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a family remembrance starting at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday January 19, 2016 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street.
