Steve Sasse, 65 of Springfield passed away Saturday March 27, 2010 in his home.
Steve was born March 29, 1944 in East Chicago, Indiana to Dan and Hazel Marie (Sarver) Sasse. He was a man who lived life as he chose and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He is survived by his loving brother, John, his sister, Joan Scammerhorn; four sons and many other relatives and close friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday March 31, 2010 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral Home.
