Stephen James Unger, born January 3, 1958, passed away March 31, 2018 at the age of 60.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Lori. He was most proud of his two sons, Joshua and Kaleb,his very caring and thoughtful daughter-in-law, Natalie, and dearly treasured being Grandpapa, as he was lovingly called by his six grandchildren, Emma, Jonah, Gabriel, Samuel, Abigail, and Melody.
We remember Steve as being a devout Christian, conservationist, hunter and outdoorsman, Eagle Scout, Patriot, history buff, lover of music, an excellent vacation planner with his family, generous, caring and loving, romantic, friendly, approachable, interested in anyone and everyone he met, very thoughtful, principled, and organized.
Due to the treatment, kindness, care, and love they showed Steve and Lori, and going above and beyond expectations, the family would prefer any remembrances of Steve be given in the form of donations to:
