Stephen Cline

Stephen Eugene Cline, 65 Springfield, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was born September 17, 1949, in Long Beach, California to Eldon and Margaret Cline. Stephen served in the United States Navy for six years, and worked for Frisco later Burlington Northern railroad for 29 Years.
Stephen was a Christian, he loved nascar, building things with his hands, played guitar and loved music. He also loved camping, fishing, landscaping and was quite a jokester. Stephen loved spending time with his granddaughter. Stephen and Janis were married December 28, 1974 and celebrated 40 years of marriage in 2014.
He is survived by his wife Janis; one daughter Shelley Stofer and husband Billy and one granddaughter Kamryn Stofer. Two brothers, Gary Cline and wife Cathy, Kenny Cline and wife Cynthia and by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Graveside services with military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood, Springfield, under the direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
