Stanley Sanders

With deep sadness and much love we mourn the loss of our beloved Stanley Ray Sanders. Stanley passed away in his home on March 2, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family.

He was proceeded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold Bruton Sr. and Rosemary Bruton; brothers, Jimmy Sanders and Randy Harvey; and sister, Elizabeth (Bruton) Erwin.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Christine Sanders; daughter, Holly Means and husband Daron Means; son, Steven Ray Sanders and his wife Amber Sanders. Six granddaughters; four grandsons; brothers, Billy Alderson and Arnold Bruton Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy Honaker, Dee Holt, Kathy Bruton, Sheryl Harvey, and Melinda Bruton; and lots of neices and nephews.

Stanley was larger than life to so many people, and through his family, he will go on being loved and cherished in memory just as he did in life.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri with a Memorial Service that will begin at 3:00pm in the Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel.
