Shawn Schofield

Shawn C. Schofield, 53, Willard, MO, passed away at 3:47 PM on Thursday, February 25th, 2016, in his home. He was born on March 17, 1962 in Springfield, MO to Robert and Anita Jean Schofield.

He worked hard in the asphalt business for many years. Shawn enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching MMA fights, bird watching, mushroom hunting, gardening, grilling, 4th of July and spending time with his family. He always wanted to please others. He would do anything for anybody, even if it meant he had to do without. He always took care of his family, no matter the cost. Shawn was truly one of a kind.

He was a very caring and loving man and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wendy, sister Anita Lee Peltz, and father Robert Schofield.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Jean Schofield, his daughters Niki Young, Rachelle Schofield, Mandie Hicks, Cera Maggard, and Ashley Betancourt, grandchildren Adriana, Ethan, Owen, Gage, Camron, AnnaBelle, Colton, Zachary, Makenzie, Mason, Nola, Aryanna, and soon to arrive Marsha Jean, 2 brothers, Michael Peltz and Patrick Peltz, and several cousins and other loving family members
