Sharon Walton

Sharon Walton, age 66, of Springfield, Missouri died on July 25, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Sharon Marie Walton, the daughter of Margaret Walton and Charles Garr, was born in Potosi, Missouri on May 5, 1952. After graduating from Potosi Sigh School in 1971, Sharon lived and worked in Springfield, Lebanon, Jefferson City, Eldon, and Versailles before retiring in Springfield.

Sharon was a member of New Growth Ministries Church in Springfield.

Sharon is survived by one son, Christopher Wallace; one sister, Janice Marple and husband Michael of Versailles; four brothers, Blaine Walton and wife Lorraine of Springfield, Alan Walton and wife Kathy of Tuscumbia, Ronald Walton of Potosi, and Brian Walton of Jefferson City; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Andre Walton.

Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at New Growth Ministries Church, 1375 N. Marion Ave., Springfield, Missouri, to be followed immediately by a celebration of Sharon's life at 12 noon at the same location. Cremation by Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, Springfield Missouri.
