Shane Fortin

Shane Christian Fortin, 33, of Myrtle, Missouri passed away at 9:59 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 in Mercy Hospital. He was born June 20, 1981 to Arthur and Norma (Bovat) Fortin in Angeles City, Philippines.

He is survived by his parents, Arthur and Norma Fortin of Myrtle, MO; his sister, Leah Fortin of Columbia, MO; grandparents, Philip & Susan Bovat of Highgate, VT, Edith & Stanley Greene of Myrtle, MO, and Arthur & Nikki Fortin of Zephyrhills, FL; uncle, Donald Bovat of Highgate, VT; uncles and aunts, Sam & Deana Brown of St. Albans, VT and Dennis & Nancy Greene of Swanton, VT; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shane was employed at Oregon County Recycling Center in Thayer, MO and formerly employed at Eveready Battery in St. Albans, VT. Shane was loved by many and will be missed deeply. His passion was fishing, he loved being out on the lake. He also loved to hunt. Shane will be in our hearts till we meet again.

Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 21, 2015 in Dellhalf Church of Christ, Highway V, Myrtle, MO.
