Selina Neely

Selina Neely, age 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2021.

She was born on September 27, 1935 in Clarkdale, Mississippi the daughter of Rochester Davis and Eddie Reed.

She worked at Griffith Laboratories until her retirement in 2007.

Selina was a very caring and compassionate person who served the Lord at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Neely; one son; and her mother and father.

She leaves behind her brother, Ulysses Calloway; her play sister, Barbara Clemmer of Chicago, Ill.; her goddaughter, Marguita; her godson, Omar; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at New Hope International Ministry, 901 N. Prospect Avenue in Springfield, Missouri with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00am with Reverend Ronald Mitchell and Pastor L. P. Jamerson, Sr. officiating.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
