Scott Armstrong

Scott Douglas Armstrong, 45, Fair Grove, passed away at 1:50 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2010, in Citizens Memorial Hospital. He was born March 6, 1964 in Joplin, Missouri to Kelly and Barbara (Ruffin) Armstrong. He married Robin on April 10, 1992. Scott was a long time farmer who was one of the nicest men anyone knew. He farmed his whole life in Pleasant Hope and was a good man who never met a stranger.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Robin; three children, Anthony Keeler, and Cody and Amber Armstrong; and his sister, Vicky Cunningham and husband Duane; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 in Pleasant Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Angel Grajirenesortiz officiating, under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, Springfield. Burial will be in Pleasant Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
